Job Shadow Day
Experience a day in the life of an accountant at AMD’s Job Shadow Day. This initiative provides students interested in becoming a CPA the opportunity to learn about the workplace and explore career paths by shadowing AMD accountants and staff. By participating in this day-long event, you will learn the basics of tax return preparation, the difference between being a tax accountant and an auditor, the role of valuation in today’s CPA firms, and how technology and social media are being used in this profession. You will gain on-the-job experience that will help tie your education to your future. AMD’s Job Shadow Day is our introduction to the CPA work environment, and one of the many ways we motivate students to set and achieve career goals.
